Photos and letters from Lorken Pup Owners

Lorken has sold pups to many types of homes.  Some are pet homes, some field competition homes, agility dogs, some as gun dogs but most as a combination of family pet and the others listed.  We value feedback from people who have purchased pups from us and have put photos and comments out from them as associated with the mother of their pup.  Please click on the name of the mother and see the responses we have from their pup owners.

Email TESIMONIAL 2/19/01:
Lori,
I thought I would pass along to you an interesting event in my search for a pup this fall.   I spoke with Bob Heise regarding my search for the best female I can afford.   You may not know Bob, he is another member of the Blackhawk Retriever Club (among several clubs), owns a few dogs out of Lean Mac, and truly runs in events as an avid hobby.  He and his wife Ann are very nice people.  Bob's theory is to look for a really good female, as good males are much easier to come by, and he said "there was a guy from Wisconsin who had some great looking young females at our sanctioned trial, one of them won the Qual."  He couldn't remember the name, so I looked it up in our old newsletter and sure enough, there was Lorken's Park N Mark It and Lucy Lorken on the Loose with places in the Qual and Open.  That is why your name was familiar to me, that and our licensed trial that we had in June.
Of course, this has only increased my interest in a pup from your kennel, so please, please, keep my posted.  I imagine all of Checkers pups from the Dec. litter are sold.
Our club has not yet scheduled our sanctioned trial, but we will have one in late March or early April.  Our licensed trial is scheduled for the weekend of June 9, and we will have access to additional grounds (land) near Fox Hollow Kennel, Mondovi, WI
Sincerely,
Ann Runstrom
