is a breeding of FC-AFC Candlewood's Desert Storm to our Maggie.
He was about a year old in the photo. The family writes,
". . .Todd and Jake are planning to
run Blake in some hunt tests this summer, and they are quite confident he
will do well. You are bringing up some wonderful dogs! We feel lucky and
think Blake is a special kind of dog!..." |

Hillview Maggie Mae SH.
"The pictures are of Beans
taken on the 24th of Aug. retrieving on the Mississippi. His
training has been progressing very smoothly. He has started
understanding whistle commands and is very well mannered. Each day
he seems to become more intelligent and aware of what is expected of him.
My wife and I really enjoy having him as part of our family and are rarely
without him." Beans lives in Iowa. |
This Georgia pup
is from a breeding with our dog Maggie and '98 NFC-AFC Abe's
Ebony & Ivory...
"I had my trainer take some pictures of
Bailey. Unfortunately the quality was not that good. Only one came out
that wasn't blurry. Were going to take some more this weekend and I will
forward them to you. FF went very well and the trainer tells me she is
just a pleasure to work with. Her preliminary OFA came back as excellent
on her hips and normal on her elbows.
Her eyes are also CERF clear. We couldn't be more pleased with her, your
program produced an excellent animal."

I haven't brought you up to speed on
Bailey in a while. She is now 22 months old and weighs in at around 75#.
She is a solidly built dog. This past Saturday she obtained her Senior
Hunter title at the Middle Tennessee Retriever club hunt test and also passed
the first leg of towards her Master title on Sunday. If all go well she
will have her Master hunter title just after she turns two.
