Lorken Farms has a small kennel of female Labrador Retrievers with exceptionally nice pedigrees and all are titled gun dogs.  They have been run in Ducks Unlimited competitions, have AKC Field Trial placements and Hunt Test titles.  The dogs  live in the house with us.

Scully "Lorken's Scully-wag"   Scully is the daughter of Gale (below) and the National Field Champion Storm's Riptide Star "Rascal".  Though she has not been run in competition, she is a full sister to at least 5 Master Hunters, lic. AAQ/Derby Pts/ 2 HRCH's.  She is birdie, has lots of drive and at the same time is a wonderful, gentle house dog.   References  OFA Excellent
Augie "Lorken Wants a Big Mac To Go"  Augie is the daughter of the multiple National Field Champion winner NAFC-CNAFC-FC Ebonstar Lean Mac and our MH dog Lucy, below.  She is a very birdie and beautiful dog.  We have not yet decided if we will formally train her since we have been focusing more on our older dogs.  Littermate of 2002 Derby list dog Coon River Lean Mac's Molly.  Very birdie and great hunting dog on our game farm. Frieda "Lorken's Frieda Run"  Frieda is the Grand daughter of our dog Gale and NFC-AFC Storm's Riptide Star.  Her mother HRCH Rascal's Bell Star Magnum is the littermate to Scully.  Bell will start running Master tests in addition to having her HRCH title.  Frieda's father is FC-AFC High Tech CEO - son of 2 National Field Champions - Ebonstar Lean Mac and Hattie McBunn and 2005 NFC Finalist.  3 of her 4 grandparents are NATIONAL Field Champions!  Born 5/29/2002 CNM clear, EIC clear OFA Excellent

Lizzie "Lorken's Emma Good Bet" daughter of our dog Emma (below) and Grand D of Gale.  Both Gale and Emma were amateur trained by Lori and earned Senior Hunter titles.  Emma also has Master legs.  Liz' father was FC-AFC Whitie IV (Woody) who was the son of 2 National Field Champions - Ebonstar Lean Mac and Hattie McBunn and littermate to 6 FC's.  Liz has been genetically tested for color and is Color Type IV Bb-Ee (Black but carries yellow and chocolate).  She is a wonderful house dog and one of Ken's favorite dogs for pheasant hunting.  She's a natural pointer like her mother and has lots of drive in the field, but couch potato in the house .Born Dec 3, 2003 CNM clear, Cerf 48065, OFA Excellent.  Liz Reference Page

Checker "Lorken's Park N Mark It, MH" completely trained by Ken.  She earned a JAM in every Lic. Derby run.  In Qualifying she has a 3rd place, 4th place and Reserve JAM.  Completely Amateur trained and handled by Ken.  Has Master Hunter title.   In DUCKS UNLIMITED she took first in OPEN to become the 2001 DU Midwest dog of the Year.  Sanctioned 1st in Derby, AT & H, Qualifying.  References  OFA Excellent Black, carried the yellow gene for coat color.  8/27/1997-11/7/2007
Emma "Lorken's Emma Good, SH"   Trained by Lori, Emma earned the Jr, Sr, needed 2 more legs for Master title.  Daughter of Gale, above.  She has a Sanct. AT&H 1st place and is San. AAQ.  Amtr Stake finalist for Duck's Unlimited.  She had a severe chest injury due to a farm accident that disrupted her career.   Natural pointing abilities.  References  OFA Good. 3/24/1995-10/8/2007
Lucy "Lorken on the Loose, MH" had 3 months of professional training.  Ken earned the Junior, Senior and Master Hunt Test Titles on her. In licensed Hunt tests she earned a 3rd place in Qualifying division. In Sanctioned Field Trials Ken earned  Open 1st, 2nd and 3rd placements as well as two 1st placements in All Age Qualified. In Ducks Unlimited Ken earned Amateur placement and Open Finalist.  References Lucy was the mom of a 2002 Derby List dog!       
Lorken's Hillview Gale Force, SH was amateur trained by Lori.  Ken and Lori both ran her to earn the Junior Hunter and Senior Hunter title. Gale was a beautiful dog, with some natural pointing tendencies.  She was the mother of at least 5 Master Hunters & the first All Age Qualified Chocolate female in the state of WI and 2 HRCH's.

Lorken's Hillview Maggie Mae, SH.  She was the daughter of FC-AFC Candlewood MD Houston and Hillview's Moonlighting.  Her littermate was FC-AFC Hillview's Days End Super Sue - the mother of FC-NAFC Day's End Northern Express.  Maggie was a joy to hunt with.  No matter what she always had a silly grin on her face when she worked.  She loved the hunt and the house.  She was an avid TV watcher - any program, however,  action and animals were her favorite.  References.
Lorken's Snickers and Grins was our first chocolate that we got before there were Field Champion chocolate lines yet available.  Her father was Candlewood's High Rolling Hank, SH.  She was a very nice looking dog who was excellent on upland.
