 Red Deer

Ken enjoyed a 2 day Red Deer stalk in the Scottish Highlands in 1994.  He found it a very enjoyable yet tough hunt spending much time crawling on the ground through heather. The Scots dressed in their woolen suits for the hunt.

WHITE TAIL DEER

Ken got a 210 lb field dressed buck in the bow season 2002 in Fremont.  The deer had 11 points (below left).
Below right is a buck from bow season 1986 in Stephensville, WI.   This buck had 9 points.

ALASKA CARIBOU Sept 2002

Ken had what he calls an opportunity of a lifetime.  Someone who purchased a dog from us offered to take him on a Caribou hunt in Alaska in Sept 2002.  They flew into the brush on this small plane.  Ken kids his friend with a shed he found trying to claim it's his!  Ken said high winds almost blew them over with their tent one night, they saw a bear near camp once and he spent time crawling on  the ground similar to the experience Red Deer Stalking in Scotland.  Below right is a nice caribou taken by Marv.  Thanks AJ!
