Pups were born July 7, 2009
starting at 2:30 am. She had carried 9 pups but the last two got
stuck and we had to have a c-section for her. We had 8 live births
weighing close to a pound each. Eyes and ears are sealed and they
cannot walk yet. Mom and pups are doing well. |

Here are some pix
of the pups on July 19. They soon will be opening their eyes.
They are at least double their birth size and are trying to walk a bit on
their legs. Everyone is doing well. |

The pups are
almost 3 weeks old. Their eyes are open, they are walking a bit and
the teeth are starting to emerge. The eyes are still a blue color
and will darken to brown as they age. They are starting to climb out
of their enclosure and may soon need to be moved. |

At 3+ wks the pups
are starting to play with each other (not toys yet), climb out of the
enclosure and enjoy sleeping in big puppy piles. Teeth are coming
in. |

The pups will not
be 5 weeks old until Tuesday. They are in the process of being
weaned, introduced to toys and love to be held. |

The

They love to play with each other and like to be held. They are
people dogs for sure. |

The
pups were 6 weeks old on Tuesday the 18th. They are eating puppy
chow soaked in water. The eyes are starting to turn more yellow
brown now than blue. They like playing with toys now. In a
week they will be going to their new homes. |
