Emma was the daughter of our dog Lorken's Hillview Gale Force, SH and FC-AFC River Oaks Way-Da-Go Rocky.  Gale had produced AAQ, derby pts, MH, HRCH pups. 

Emma was a nice looking, broad chest, dark chocolate female Labrador.  She had an excellent water entry, drive, was birdie, and an excellent tracker. She was close ranging in an upland hunting situation and very controllable, some flash pointing has been seen.  Loved people, other dogs/puppies, cats, and is a wonderful house dog who usually slept on the bed... three quarters of it if you let her. She had a wonderful personality. She earned her AAQ at a sanctioned field trial where only 2 dogs were able to cleanly finish some very tough marks. She has a 1st place in Amateur Trained and Handled.  OFA good, elbows normal, eyes clear. Weighs 73 pounds.  Her father was black and mother chocolate.  Lori and Emma learned about field dog training together.  She is amateur trained and handled.
Emma earned her Junior, Senior and started on the Master Hunt Test title when she received a severe chest injury on a farm tractor bale spear.

She is the mother of at least one Master Hunter: MC Lorken Coldwater Riptide, MH

(Emma injured herself by rolling into a bale spear on a tractor.  The spear went in through the front of her chest and came out by a lower rib (at least a 12 inch puncture!) .  She was quite fortunate to survive but we pretty well retired her from events at that time.)
